Featuring special guest!
College is supposed to be the best four years of your life, but balancing a busy class schedule with added time for parties and self-care can be tricky. Check out Episode 4 for some more helpful tips and tricks for Balancing Work and Play.
Making Time for Yourself
Freshman year is filled with making new friends, getting involved in new activities, taking classes on things you're actually interested in and so much more. If you're anything like us, you may feel like sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day for you to get everything done. That's why factoring in time for yourself is crucial because you are what matters the most at the end of the day. Whether taking a ten-minute break to meditate or going for a walk with your friends, show up for yourself and be your biggest advocate.
How to Find your Balance
You know yourself better than anybody. How do you work best? Is it writing everything down in a planner or making a to-do list every morning? Or, is it is storing everything in the notes app of your phone? Whatever the case may be, figuring out the way you work best is what helps you to find your balance. Once you know what you need to get done, making mental notes or physically writing in time for yourself is how you can ensure you have time for yourself even on your busiest days.
